At the 9th Future Fabrics Expo held recently in London, SupplyCompass attended a seminar which sought to examine circularity through the lens of recycling.

Traditional paper is made from wood pulp, and although it’s possible to make paper from other types of plant such as cotton, bamboo and hemp, about 95% of the raw material used to make paper comes from trees.

The need for circularity and closed-loop systems is gaining increasing traction in the fashion industry with major commitments by many industry behemoths.
